The Importance of Backing up Your Data Files Can Not be Overstated!

Many unfortunate things can happen to your data. Any computer file can be accidentally overwritten or deleted, and they can become corrupted by voltage spikes or power failures. Other things can happen (e.g., hard disk failures, natural disasters, computer thefts).

A consistent back-up routine is your best hedge against data loss. If you feel you can't find the time to back up your data on a regular basis, then consider how long it would take you to reconstruct your database files. You would need to re-enter each Customer record, all orders and other associated information!

In addition to keeping recent back-ups on premises, we highly recommend, on a regular basis, you store a back-up of your data files off premises. (Every 30 days or so)

An off premises back-up will be insurance against data loss due to computer theft or a natural disaster. Remember you can always replace your computer, but your data files are another story! Protect them as if your business depends on it . . . It just might!
