I had my carpet professionally cleaned and a few days later, I took a black light to see if the urine stains were completely gone and they weren’t. You can’t tell the stains are gone without a black light. Cleaner smelled good for a few weeks but then a slight urine smell came back.

This occurs because UV light highlights residual salts, minerals, and decomposed proteins that remain embedded in carpets or fabrics, even if the odor and visible stain are gone. Did the professional use a water claw or what method did they use? They can spray on some TMF UV Gone as a post spray in that section so the uv light wont glow in that area again.
